Having lived in China for 7 years and being a Global traveler, Harpuneet Singh has International Business acumen. He is the Sr.Vice President – Engineering and Technology Development at Vista Point Technologies (a Flextronics Business) since 1995. Always the one to believe in MK’s visions he supports her with full dedication believing in her passion for these causes.
Having a daughter of his own, he believes all little girls should be treated and loved and cared for the same way. His belief is that “All children are as precious as Gems.” |

SATISH JHA
Satish Jha is the President & CEO of One Laptop per Child India and for the past couple decades he has worked at the intersection of technology and management both in global markets and the social space.
Before joining OLPC he headed Digital Partners and James Martin & Co. and before that co-founded a national daily Janasatta for the Indian Express Group and edited newsweekly Dinamaan for The Times of India.
In the field of technology management, he served as a global information management executive with two of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies and as CEO of a consulting firm. He also founded, mentored and seeded a couple of dozen social projects with a focus on technology, business strategies and public policy in the areas of universal access to education, healthcare and bridging the digital divide.He is a member of the UN-GAID (United Nations Global Alliance for ICT and Development), Special Advisor to the Kofi Annan Center and co-chairs the World IT Forum (WITFOR).
He studied international affairs at The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy and has an MBA from EDHEC/ Thesues in France. His co-edited work with Leon Strous on "ICTs for Development and Prosperity" was published by IFIP in late 2007.

Years, Shalini has founded the Raksha Homes for the elderly in Albany, CA, where treating the ageing with dignity is a core
value. Born and raised in Punjab in India, Shalini has that unique insight into the old as well as the new world that helps make the goals that THE VALAYA FREE SPIRIT FOUNDATION advocates become her second nature. |
