We are a luxury brand. Luxury, by many in India is considered an unnecessary evil...a sheer waste! Many feel luxury wreaks of wealth and its wasteful use and thus schemingly promotes inequality. But luxury to most, also implies quality education, decent meals, a future to look forward to...a respectable existence.
To us, luxury also means access...to individuals and corporations who have arrived and therefore possess the means and hopefully the heart to touch the lives of those who are deprived of the very basics of life. To us, in fact, luxury may well be the source to effectively mobilize the means required to ‘Move to Assist the Girl Child’.
Magic is all about creating something out of nothing at all. It is an endeavor to try and look at the very real issue of gender bias against the girl child in an entirely new light. It is about creatively giving happiness, joy and a sense of achievement to as many children as we can!
We are all born equal; somewhere along the line, the equation changed. Fortunately, it is up to sensitive individuals to try and restore the balance. I am convinced that you are one of them!
This, my friends, is a reality that we all know of but don’t place very high up in our priorities. I therefore appeal to you to look at this with a hand on your heart and a resolve in your mind. A small effort is always what it takes to start making a difference.
