It gives me immense pleasure to invite you to the launch of The Valaya Magic Foundation, Chapter – SF, USA on the 15th November 2009. The Valaya MAGIC Foundation brings an innovative and unconventional vision  as it actively promotes ” a society in which every girl child has an opportunity to grow to her full potential, free from gender bias and prejudice.”

This lofty goal has been pragmatically tested at the schools for girls that the MAGIC Foundation has started in India. The Foundation works “for the welfare of the girl child to include every facet of her through education, healthcare and livelihood.”

Realizing that the Magic Foundation cannot be content to garner resources only to improve India’s rural and backward areas I bring this intense desire to change the world, one girl at a time not only in the developing world but to the underprivileged and needy children amidst us in the affluent west coast too. Our fund raising effort will support neighborhood organizations like NARIKA that work with immigrant women and children in the Bay area as well as engage with the altruistic goals espoused by major organizations like the Bill Clinton Foundation.

It would be our honor if you join us as our sponsors for this luxury event: a Fashion Show Fundraiser followed by an Auction, proceeds of which will benefit the said causes.

We have an assured attendance of leading newspapers and TV Channels for this event.
